What kind of trainings do we organise?

Agents

Insurance agents have an opportunity to acquire knowledge and master certain skills by taking part in trainings prepared by the Training and Branch Management Office.
The standard training offer includes:

• health insurance (the VISION health insurance, the Inter Medicus daily benefits insurance in case of inability to work, the Inter Tour travel insurance),
• property products (Inter Lokum, Inter Partner, Personal Accident Insurance),
• medical insurance,
• sales techniques,
• negotiation skills,
• customer service,
• management of a client's portfolio,
• conducting presentations and speaking in public.

The exam for natural persons applying for registration in the insurance agents registry, kept by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

The exam takes place not later than within 14 days after the training is completed. In order to take part in the examination it is necessary to present a confirmation of the completed training.

The exams take place in the TU INTER Polska S.A. Branches and are led by examination board, consisting of at least three members.
The exam is a written test prepared by the examination board. The number of questions in the test depends on the kind of the completed training, in accordance with the act of the Ministry of Finance from 07.07.2005 on the minimal training requirements for people applying for being registered as agents, and on the content of the obligatory examination and the way it should be conducted (Journal of Laws No 125, from 2005, item 1053).
Those who take part in the examination, receive a certificate with their results after the examination.

Management Board

• recruitment and selection of candidates,

• train the trainer – preparation for conducting trainings independently.

Duration of trainings

Professional trainings are conducted in accordance with the act of the Ministry of Finance from 04.07.2005, on organizing professional trainings for people working as agents or brokers, on the basis of paragraph 4c from the act from 22.07.2003, on insurance agencies (Journal of Laws no 124, item 1154, from 2004, no 96, item 959 and from 2005, no 48, item 447). The training last for at least 50 hours.

The training may last for:

• 152 hours - for candidates for agents and co-workers of the agents (persons doing agential activities), who have never been trained before and are applying to work as agents in the TU INTER Polska S.A company,
• 48 hours - for candidates for agents and co-workers of the agents (persons doing agential activities), who have been trained in this field before in terms of issues indispensable to do their work correctly, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the training, and who are applying to work as agents in the TU INTER Polska S.A. company,
• 36 hours – for persons working as agents, being employed by an insurance agent on permanent basis, in case their work is limited to drawing insurance contracts only from the 2nd annexe to the act, which in addition will have direct connection with the basic activity of an insurance agent, will not require specialist knowledge about insurances, and the contract will bind for no longer than 12 months.
• 8 hours - for those not working as agents themselves, for executive board members, for agent's partners, in case they do not work as agents in person.

Organisation of trainings
In the TU INTER Polska S.A. company all trainings for candidates for insurance agents take place in our offices or in our agencies. The participation in the training is free. Those who take part in the training gain access to the INTER Knowledge Academy e-learning platform and a complete set of training materials necessary to learn about all issues and prepare for the examination.
